Welcome to Champs Camp
Champs Camp is more than just a week of camp—it's an unforgettable adventure where kids discover that following Jesus is the greatest journey of all.
Hosted by Kids @ First, Champs Camp is designed for children to experience God's love through exciting activities, engaging Bible lessons, energetic worship, team challenges, creative crafts, games, and meaningful friendships. Every moment is intentionally planned to help kids grow in their relationship with Jesus while having the time of their lives.
At Champs Camp, we believe every child is a champion because they are uniquely created and deeply loved by God. Throughout the week, children are encouraged to discover who God created them to be, build confidence in Christ, and learn how to live out their faith every day.
Our incredible team of volunteers creates a safe, welcoming, and high-energy environment where every child is known, valued, and encouraged. Whether it's cheering on teammates during challenges, singing during worship, diving into God's Word, or laughing with new friends, every day is filled with opportunities to experience the joy of following Jesus.
Champs Camp takes place each year during Spring Break, serving families Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Parents can have confidence knowing their children are spending the week in a safe, Christ-centered environment filled with caring leaders, exciting activities, delicious meals, and unforgettable experiences.
At Champs Camp, we don't just create an amazing week—we create moments that point children to Jesus and memories that last a lifetime.

Our Mission
At Champs Camp, we partner with families by providing children with an exciting, Christ-centered Spring Break experience where they can grow in their faith, build lasting friendships, and discover the incredible love of Jesus.
Frequently Asked Questions
What ages can attend? We welcome Kindergarten through 8th grade.
Is breakfast and lunch provided? Absolutely! Along with a snack every day.
What should my child bring? Honestly, just themselves. You are welcome to send your child with anything you believe they will need. After several years of electronics getting broken, or misplaced, we do request that you leave your electronics at home. We promise we will keep you busy!
Can my child attend if they don't attend First Baptist Church? No! Champs Camp is open to everyone. We'd love to welcome your family, whether you attend First Baptist Church, another church, or don't currently have a church home.
Is there a registration fee? We charge $50 a child, but have several scholaships available. Please don't ever let the cost stop you, from sending your child to Champs Camp.
Can my child attend if they have food allergies or medical needs? Absolutely! During registration, you'll have the opportunity to share allergies, medications, and any other important medical information so we can care for your child well. If you have questions before registering, please don't hesitate to contact us.
Who are the volunteers? Our camp is led by trained Kids @ First staff and amazing volunteers who are passionate about serving children. Every year we have a group of College Students come from BSM Chorpus Christi in volunteer with Champs Camp. Every adult serving at Champs Camp has completed our required background checks and child safety training. Your child's safety and well-being are one of our highest priorities.
How do I register? Registation will open in November of 2026 for Champs Camp 2027. Typically we release a google.doc for registation. The form will be available on this page, as well as available on our Facebook.
