FBC gathers for worship at 10:50am on Sunday Mornings in the sanctuary AT 208 Austin Ave. in Brownwood, TX. The service lasts around 70 minutes. You are welcome to come as you are. You will see some people dressed in Suits and Dresses and others in T-shirts and Jeans. We look forward to meeting you and your family.

Welcome to the website of First Baptist Church, Brownwood!  I’m glad you found us.  As someone who was born in Brownwood and brought up in this church, I am thrilled to be back serving with the congregation that was very instrumental in my coming to know and grow in Christ Jesus as Savior and Lord.
First Baptist Church, Brownwood has been in existence for almost 150 years. Â The congregation has worshipped in the historic sanctuary for almost 100 years; and, the current membership seeks to continue a rich and vital legacy of leading people to know and follow the Lord Jesus.
As people of faith, we gather regularly to express our Faith through opportunities for worship, discipleship, and the service of God and others; to experience Belonging as children of God and fellow members of God’s family; and, to embrace our Calling as people dedicated to God for the good of the church, for the sake of the world, and for the glory of God.
