First Baptist Church, Brownwood has been in existence for almost 150 years. The congregation has worshipped in the historic sanctuary for almost 100 years; and, the current membership seeks to continue a rich and vital legacy of leading people to know and follow the Lord Jesus.
As people of faith, we gather regularly to express our Faith through opportunities for worship, discipleship, and the service of God and others; to experience Belonging as children of God and fellow members of God’s family; and, to embrace our Calling as people dedicated to God for the good of the church, for the sake of the world, and for the glory of God.
