FBC Brownwood: Express our Faith, Experience Belonging, Embrace our Call.

From the Pastor
Dear church family, We are entering in the summer months, even though the previous weather tells us that spring is still in the air. If you are like me, you are very thankful for the rain and will manage to deal with any inconveniences that may bring. While Pastor Jerry is enjoying some time away with his family on vacation, I want to highlight a couple of things that have been in the works at the church building that might go unnoticed if you were not here while they were doing the work. I have included pictures below for you to see. A couple of weeks ago a crew was here for one of our necessary steps in our Rise and Build Campaign. They came with a big drill to take samples from out parking lot property. There are spots in the parking lot where they filled in the holes they drilled. Today, we have surveyors out doing their work for the project as well. The team from Kerr Surveying is working with the City of Brownwood for the all the essential property needs. We are moving forward. This may be a good time to remind ourselves, that even when we do not see everything happening, it doesn't mean something is not going on. God works that way in us. We may not see immediate results from praying for something, or the benefit of consistent faithfulness, but God is still working. The last thing I wanted to share is that we also currently getting some roll-up doors installed in the kitchen to help dampen the kitchen noise in the fellowship hall and to close off the kitchen when people are working, but there are others in the fellowship hall. Be in prayer for our pastor as he is away. Keep the others from our prayer list in your hearts and minds as well. Know that your church family loves you. And should you ever need to lean on us, we are here to help bear one anothers burdens. In Christ, |

Adopt A CamperHelp Send Students to Camp We’re excited to offer an opportunity for you to help send a child to camp through our Adopt a Camper Sponsor Program! You can sponsor a camper in three ways:
When you choose to sponsor, you’ll pick a “kiddo” from our board to support. Before camp, you’ll receive the child's week long prayer requests to begin praying over your camper. During camp, you’ll continue to receive updates and specific prayer needs, and you’ll even get a photo of your camper while they’re at camp! This is more than just giving—it’s investing in a child’s faith journey. Stop by the display (in the children's wing) and Adopt a Camper today! |

FCA All Star Baseball Game Needs People to Pray at the Game
On June 4th, our area FCA will host their annual FCA All Star Games. Brownwood will be the site for baseball and softball this year. We have been asked if we can have 10 people sign up to pray for athletes and their families on the field during the opening ceremonies. Each athlete family will have a specific person who will pray over them and give them a prayer rock for them to keep. Prayer partners are asked to be at the Brownwood High School baseball/softball fields at 5:30pm that evening. If you would be interested in being part of this prayer rock ceremony, you can sign up through the church office or contact the office for more details. |

We have received $463,595 of those pledges and gifts so far. If you have made a pledge to give periodically, we encourage you to make every effort to keep that pledge. Work with us in the office if anything in your pledge needs to change or if you are unsure how to make any contributions. |
